Marketplace rules
Terms of use
These terms set the ground rules for players, coaches and visitors using Vevora.
Last updated: 18 July 2026
1. Accepting these terms
By using Vevora or submitting a booking or coach application, you agree to these terms and the privacy notice. If you act for a business or coaching organisation, you confirm that you may bind it.
You must be at least 18 to make a booking or apply as a coach.
2. What Vevora does
Vevora provides a marketplace for discovering coaches, requesting or booking available times, and managing session information. Unless a page expressly says otherwise, each coach provides coaching independently and is responsible for the accuracy of their profile, qualifications, availability and services.
We may review application information, but listing a coach is not a promise that the coach is suitable for every player or purpose. Players should ask questions and make their own choice.
3. Bookings and prices
- A booking is confirmed only when the site clearly marks it confirmed.
- A request booking remains pending until the coach accepts it.
- Prices, duration, venue and any included court fee should be shown before payment.
- A venue may charge a court or entry fee separately. Where it is not included, the player is responsible for paying the venue directly.
- Obvious pricing or availability errors may be corrected. If that affects a paid booking, you may accept the correction or receive a refund.
Preview and pilot bookings are tests only. Before paid bookings open, checkout must identify the payment provider and total amount before a charge is approved.
4. Changes, cancellations and refunds
The cancellation policy forms part of these terms. A coach or venue may occasionally need to change a session. We will try to offer a reasonable alternative or the refund required by that policy and applicable law.
5. Player responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact, level and booking information.
- Arrive on time with suitable clothing and any equipment the listing says you need.
- Follow reasonable safety instructions and the venue's rules.
- Tell the coach about an injury, medical issue or other circumstance relevant to safe participation, and seek medical advice where appropriate.
- Treat coaches, venue staff and other players respectfully.
6. Coach responsibilities
- Keep profile, pricing, credentials and availability accurate.
- Deliver accepted sessions professionally, safely and at the agreed place and time.
- Maintain any qualifications, permissions, insurance or venue arrangements required.
- Protect player information and use it only for coaching and booking administration.
- Do not manipulate reviews, discriminate unlawfully or move users off the platform deceptively.
7. Safety and liability
Padel and physical coaching involve inherent risks, including falls, collisions and injury. Participate within your ability, stop if you feel unwell or unsafe, and obtain professional medical advice when needed. Vevora does not provide medical advice.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under applicable consumer law. To the extent the law permits, Vevora is not responsible for independent acts of coaches, players or venues, or for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the booking was made.
8. Accounts, content and acceptable use
Keep account access secure and tell us promptly about suspected misuse. Reviews and other submitted content must be truthful, relevant and lawful. Do not scrape the service, probe its security, upload malicious material, impersonate others or use personal information for unrelated marketing.
You retain ownership of content you submit, but give Vevora permission to host and display it as needed to operate the service. We may remove content or suspend access where reasonably needed for safety, law, fraud prevention or enforcement of these terms.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Vevora available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may maintain, improve or discontinue features. If we make a material change to these terms, we will update the date above and give reasonable notice where the change affects an active paid booking.
10. Law and contact
South African law governs these terms. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so both sides can try to resolve the issue in good faith. Courts with jurisdiction in South Africa may hear unresolved disputes, subject to any consumer right to use another forum.
Questions can be sent through the contact page.
